Christin Erazo is a freelance writer and social media professional from Miami, Florida, USA. She graduated from Miami’s Florida International University with a Bachelors degree in Communications and a minor in Spanish Language in 2009.
She freelanced and interned at various metropolitan newspapers in South Florida from 2008 to 2010. After graduation, she landed in Stuart, FL where she worked as a journalist, social media manager and engagement editor for a local newspaper. There she was awarded and recognized for her many journalistic achievements particularly dealing with engaging the public through social media to react to an environmental disaster in the local waterways.
In 2015, Christin moved to Ancona, Italy to pursue love and adventure. There she began her blog “Peace Love Italian” and Instagram page “@Chris_in_Italy” as a way to continue her writing, journal her travels around Italy and Europe and share the experience with those on social media. During her time in Italy, she became a B2 Italian speaker certified by the “Università per stranieri di Perugia”. She is currently working to become a certified French speaker.
Christin affirms a social media presence is a necessary and useful tool in today’s digital landscape, but today it’s not enough to just be online. She asserts that businesses and organizations need to stand out and engage with audiences and their clients consistently and on a more human, personal level to build engagement and cut through all the online noise.
When Christin isn’t scrolling through social media or updating her own social pages, she enjoys traveling across the U.S. and Europe with her husband, doing hot yoga and watching various TV series.
